I realized I had lice when one dramatically parachuted onto my study book in the middle of class. I did what any little kid would do: I squished it between the pages and kept the bug until I got home to show my mom. I ended up getting lice nine times growing up, and luckily, my mom had a secret weapon to treat it.

Digging up childhood memories made me remember how infatuated I was with the Amazon warrior sculptures in the museums along the Turkish coastline. My mom and I took many road trips to see exhibitions featuring Myrina, Penthesilea, and many of her sisters. Maybe in another universe, I get to meet them.
